Government Fact Checks News On Fresh Lockdown, Says Save Joke For April Fool’s Day

Through a funny tweet government has fact checked news on the imposition of a fresh lockdown.

Interestingly, the news items fact checked by the government are false as well as factually incorrect.

The news says government will impose lockdown from February 29 to February 31.

On March 24, 2020 the government had imposed lockdown nationwide to contain the spread of coronavirus which had first emerged in December 2019 in the Wuhan province of China.

Within less than a year the government has rolled out the vaccination against the infection, which will enter the second massive phase on March 1. In the first phase, doctors and frontline workers had received the vaccination, and in the second phase the people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years with co-morbidities will be administered the vaccine.
